So… buddy… you are confusing Christianity with the story of the Northmen.
In Christianity, which is a stolen and modified version of the Jewish faith, there’s gonna be a BIG battle and the bad guys lose and the good guys win. HOORAY!
In the Norse stories, a poet who founded a culture faced unexpected consequences threatening to rip it apart. He tried to build a fighting force that could stem this inevitable destruction -but failed-.
The moral of the story was simple: build a culture while denying its strongest elements WILL result in that culture self-destructing.
