Do not read the story “So Much Cooking” by Naomi Kritzer (written in 2015 about a food blogger during a pandemic) unless you like crying. Or experiencing what it feels like when someone accidentally fucking accurately predicting the future.
Okay… honestly it was terribly traumatized but at the same point astonishing and hopeful and emotional. Not exactly what I expected while cracking open an anthology of Hugo nominees, but it certainly was very inspiring. And a quick shout out to the public library, whose amazing list of electronic resources is making quarantine more than bearable.
Back to Naomi Kritzer’s <shudder> prophecies though… run. Run away and do not open that link above.
However, do read loads of her other stuff because she’s an amazing writer.
